As a Senior Quality Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and evolving our quality engineering practices.
You will design and implement scalable test automation solutions, mentor quality engineers, and work closely with development teams to shift-left quality practices.
This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who wants to shape the future of quality at XToka.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks and infrastructure
- Lead quality engineering initiatives and establish best practices
- Mentor and guide quality engineers in their technical growth
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and maintain test automation for web, API, and mobile applications
- Establish quality metrics and dashboards for visibility into product quality
- Drive adoption of shift-left testing practices and quality culture
- Evaluate and integrate new testing tools and technologies
- Participate in architecture reviews to ensure testability and quality
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in quality engineering and test automation
- 3+ years in a technical leadership role
- Expert-level knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or TypeScript
- Experience with API testing (REST, GraphQL) and contract testing
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance and load testing tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
- Experience with BDD/TDD methodologies (preferred)
